Current Transit Options

Friendship Centers of Emmet County provides Demand Response bus service covering all of Emmet County. Although most service is concentrated in and around Petoskey, there are routes for other areas at least once a week. Ridership is primarily for individuals who are 60 or better and for persons of any age with a disability, but anyone can call for a ride. All buses are wheelchair accessible and can be used for most any transportation need. Hours of operation are Monday thru Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Straits Regional Ride provides Dial-a-Ride service in Petoskey, Alanson and Harbor Springs Monday thru Friday. They also provide service to Cheboygan and Presque Isle counties and have routes to and from those areas. Ridership is available to any individual but priority is given to senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
